READING WEEK 2016
Time Out for Reading” is the theme for this years Reading Week.  Join us for our kickoff on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Food will be served in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:15 p.m. and will include hot dogs, nachos, drinks, and popcorn.  Activities will include relay races, miniature golf, bowling, plus a basketball shooting contest.    Students will sign up to win books!

The book fair will also be here that night.

Come join us for a night of fun!

 

TIGER PRIDE
Our softball and baseball teams recently completed their fall seasons.  The girls finished with a 4-4 record in the conference and an overall record of 5-11.  The boys finished 4-4 in the conference and 6-4 overall.  Tri-County All-Conference selections included Averi Acton and Jacob Bleything—First Team and Alexa Higgins and Colt Acton—Second Team.  Averi Acton and Alexa Higgins were also selected to the All-District Second Team.

Congratulations to the following students for representing our school in the 2016 Tri-County Conference Choir Tour on Monday, October 17: Celia Kincaid, Morgan Magruder, Madeline McGinnis, and Megan McHenry.  They joined students from eight schools that performed on tour at LaPlata, Atlanta, and Bevier.

Congratulations also to Kameren McGinnis and Megan McHenry for their selection to the Northeast District Choir.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Bring canned food items to the November 14 junior high basketball games against Mary Immaculate and receive $1 off your admission for each item donated. The food will be given to the Food Pantry of Adair County.

 

Come and support our Tigers while we       also reach out to those in need within our community.

BREAKFAST/LUNCH MENU

 

Breakfast each day  includes milk and juice.      Students may choose cereal    instead of the breakfast item  offered. The following items are offered daily for students to choose from in lieu of the lunch entrée: yogurt or a WOWBUTTER® (peanut    butter replacement) and jelly sandwich.

 

November 1-4

Tuesday: Breakfast pizza/Chili cheese dog, chips, broccoli, pears, rice krispie treat, milk

Wednesday: Biscuit, sausage, egg, cheese/Chicken strips, noodles,  vegetable, peaches, brownie, milk

Thursday: Cheese omelet, toast/Hot pocket, tater tots, green beans, pineapple, banana bread, milk

Friday: Breakfast burrito/Pizza, chips & cheese, corn, applesauce, apple crisp, milk

 

November 7-11

Monday: Cereal, toast, breakfast bar, yogurt/Nachos, lettuce, corn, mandarin oranges, cookie, milk

Tuesday: French toast sticks, syrup/Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches, chocolate cake, milk

Wednesday: Biscuits & gravy/Hamburger, cheesy  potatoes, baked beans, pears, brownie, milk

Thursday: Waffle, syrup, sausage/Chicken patty, macaroni & cheese, veg-etable, pineapple, pumpkin bar, milk

Friday: Donut, fruit/Pulled pork, tater tots, vegetable, applesauce, cookie, milk

 

November 14-18

Monday: Pancake, syrup, sausage/Chicken nuggets, macaroni & cheese, peas, mandarin oranges, cookie, milk

Tuesday: Bagel, muffin, fruit/Nacho pie or sloppy joe, corn, lettuce, pineapple,   pudding, milk

Wednesday: Cinnamon roll,  fruit/Grilled cheese, soup,  carrots, fruit, pudding, milk

Thursday: Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast/Mr. Ribb, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches, cake, milk

Friday: Breakfast bites,  syrup/Walking taco, refried beans, lettuce, applesauce, ice cream, milk

November 21-25

Monday: Biscuits & gravy/Garlic pizza bread, ravioli, peas, mandarin oranges, cookie, milk

Tuesday: Breakfast pizza/Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches, pudding, milk

Wednesday: Long john, fruit/Pizza, chips & cheese, corn, applesauce, pumpkin bar, milk

Thursday: No School

Friday: No School

 

November 28-30

Monday: Waffle, syrup, sausage/Spaghetti, bread stick, cottage cheese, carrots, mandarin oranges, cookie, milk

Tuesday: Biscuit, sausage, egg, cheese/Tenderloin, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, strawberries, cake, milk

Wednesday: Breakfast burrito/Tacos, refried beans, lettuce, pineapple, banana bread, milk
