The elementary school will be celebrating National School Lunch week October 10-14.  Plan on eating with your favorite Brashear Elementary student(s) during this week.  An adult lunch costs $3.20.

Please let us know the day before you are eating by sending a note with your child or giving us a call.  The schedule is as follows:

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

School will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 20th for parent teacher conferences.  Conferences are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you have not already done so, please contact the school to schedule an appointment for your child(ren).  You will be able to pick up first quarter grade cards at the time of your conference.

Please note that we will not have school on Friday, October 21, 2016.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

As the winter season approaches, we are reminding parents and students to listen to the local media stations to check on “early dismissals” and/or “no school” bulletins.  This information will be given to KTVO television, KHQA television, KIRX radio, KTUF radio, KRXL radio, KLTE radio, KRES radio of Moberly, KMEM radio of Memphis, and KZBK radio of Brookfield.  These stations will present dismissal information as soon as decisions have been made.  Please do not call the school.

BOXTOPS

The Brashear Elementary Student Council will be collecting Box Tops again this year. Every Box Top you collect is worth $.10. Thank you for taking the time to clip Box Tops. The money we receive really does help the school.  The district is also collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and Prairie Farms milk lids.
