Brashear Visits Novinger Monday

The Junior High B Tigers take on the Wildcat B squads.

In girls action, Brashear trailed 3-2 at the end of the 1st quarter, but gained the lead and held on for a 30-28 win. Macy Rogers had 9 for Brashear. Megan Taylor added 8, Kristen Love had 7, Katie Smith had 4, and Racheal Ferguson scored 2 points. For Novinger, Ariel Rader and Becca White had 9 points each, Renatta Blackorby had 8, and Sara Conley scored 2 points.

Brashear jumped out to a 9-5 1st quarter lead, but scoring was pretty even until the 4th when the Tigers outscored Novinger 13-4 for a 32-17 win in boys action. For Brashear, Joe Clarkson had 14, Nick Thomas had 7, John Hicks and Hayden Coin each had 5, and Adam Songer scored 1 point. Novinger got 4 points from Kolton Roan, Brandon Baird had 3, and Dalyn Amidei, Ben Morelock, Logan Marrow, Jon Novinger, and Carlos West each had 2 points.
