North Shelby Tournament Day 4

Both Scotland County teams advance to finals, Atlanta boys and North Shelby girls also pick up wins.

In the consolation bracket, the North Shelby Lady Raiders picked up a 45-41 win over Atlanta and the Atlanta boys topped Brashear 65-57. In the championship bracket, Scotland County edged Marion County 46-43 in overtime and the Scotland County boys defeated North Shelby 72-55.

In the Atlanta-Brashear contest, Atlanta jumped out to a 26-11 first quarter lead. They led the Tigers 34-23 at halftime and 50-28 at the end of 3. Brashear put in a 29 point 4^th quarter performance to close to within 8, 65-57 by games end. Atlanta had 3 players in double figures, Josey Garnett, Cody Miller, and Justin Miller had 17, 13, and 10 points. Zeke Garnett and Javaun West added 8 each, Schyler Wilhelm had 6, and Garrett Thrasher scored 3 points. For Brashear, Trae Treasure came off the bench to lead the scoring with 15 points. Jacob Shipman had 14, Kale Watson added 9, Justin Hazen, Kiley Watson, and Ryan Ferdig had 5 each, and Matt Thomas and Koty Hayden scored 2 points each.
