Atlanta at Brashear for Baseball/Softball Double-header Tuesday

The Tigers and Hornets split with each winning a 10-0 5-inning game.

In the softball half of the double-header, Brashear took the lead scoring 3 in the bottom of the first. Brashear kept piling up the runs eventually winning by a margin of 10-0 in 5 innings. Christina Scudder got the win scattering 3 hits while fanning 5 in the 10-0 shutout. Carmen Woods and Scudder both were 3-3 at the plate for the victorious Lady Tigers.

Things were just as bad for the Tigers as they were good for the Lady Tigers. Atlanta’s Josey Garnett started things off with a leadoff homer, and then took the mound to silence Brashear’s bats. Atlanta’s defense helped Garnett by turning 2 double-plays during the 10-0 5-inning victory.
