The Tiger baseball teams pick up a pair of wins.
Tuesday’s Brashear vs Milan varsity game was a defensive struggle as Brashear scored a pair of runs in the 2nd and held on for a 2-1 win. Milan’s lone run came in the 5th. Michael McKim went the distance on the mound for Brashear to pick up the win while fanning 4. Brashear’s 1st run came after Kale Watson turned a leadoff single, a stolen base, and a Cody Snelling sacrifice into a run. Hayden Coin added the 2nd run with a solo homer. Matt Thomas, Jacob Shipman, and Koty Hayden also had hits. In the JV contest, Milan scored in the top of the 1st with Brashear answering with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 1st. Milan tied the game 2-2 before Brashear pushed a run across in the 4th to claim a 3-2 win.
