Milan at Brashear Tuesday April 15, 2008

The Tiger baseball teams pick up a pair of wins.

Tuesday’s Brashear vs Milan varsity game was a defensive struggle as Brashear scored a pair of runs in the 2^nd and held on for a 2-1 win. Milan’s lone run came in the 5^th. Michael McKim went the distance on the mound for Brashear to pick up the win while fanning 4. Brashear’s 1^st run came after Kale Watson turned a leadoff single, a stolen base, and a Cody Snelling sacrifice into a run. Hayden Coin added the 2^nd run with a solo homer. Matt Thomas, Jacob Shipman, and Koty Hayden also had hits. In the JV contest, Milan scored in the top of the 1^st with Brashear answering with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 1^st. Milan tied the game 2-2 before Brashear pushed a run across in the 4^th to claim a 3-2 win.
