The Tigers pick up a pair of wins in Tri-County Conference action.

Green City got on the board first in the softball game pushing a run across in the top of the 3rd inning. For awhile, it looked like that might be a game winner until the Lady Tigers exploded for 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th to pick up a 6-1 win. Abby McKim had a triple and a single for Brashear. Cierra Hines, Katy Watson, Emily Ladwig, and Kristen Love also had hits for the Lady Tigers. Hatcher had a pair of hits for Green City. Kristen Love went the distance on the mound for Brashear.

In the baseball game, both teams scored a run in the 1st, but Brashear took a 6-1 lead in the 2nd with 5 more runs. The Tigers extended the lead to 8-1 before Green City scored 3 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th. Brashear answered with a run in the bottom of the 4th and 4 more in the 5th on the way to a 16-6 victory. Kiley Watson and Matt Thomas had 2 hits each for Brashear with Watson driving in 4 runs on the night. Hayden Coin homered and Justin Hazen, Ryan Ferdig, and Adam Songer also had hits. Cody Snelling picked up the win going the distance for Brashear.
