The Lady Tigers pick up a non-conference softball win over the Lady Mustangs.

The Brashear – Marion County softball game Monday was a wild one. Marion County jumped out to a 6-1 lead after 2 innings, but Brashear scored 3 in the 3rd to close the gap to 6-4. The Lady Mustangs scored another run in the 4th and 4 in the 5th to push their lead to 11-4 before a seven-run 5th for Brashear tied the game at 11 all. Marion County scored another pair of runs in the top of the 7th to go up 13-11, but Brashear battled back scoring 3 in the bottom of the inning to get the win 14-13. Katie Watson and Abby McKim each had a double and a single for Brashear and Stephanie Elsea and Tabby Killen also had hits. Kristen Love got the start for Brashear with Macy Rogers pitching in relief.
