Bulldogs claim a pair of wins in a varsity/jv double-header.

Brashear jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first inning of the varsity game. The Tigers tacked on another 4 in the 2nd to extend their lead to 8-4. LaPlata cut the lead with a run in the 3rd, then pushed across 4 more in the 5th to claim a 9-8 win. Ryan Ferdig had 3 hits for Brashear, with Justin Hazen, Kiley Watson, Matt Thomas, and Koty Hayden also having hits. Mike McKim got the start going 4 1/3 innings with Matt Thomas appearing in relief.

In the JV game, Brashear got on the board first with a run in the 1st, but LaPlata frustrated a trio of Tiger hurlers picking up an 11-1 win.
