Brashear at Macon County October 3, 2008

The Brashear Tigers wrap up their Tri-County Conference season with a pair of road wins.

The Lady Tigers overwhelmed the Macon County Raiders in a 3-inning, 16-0 win. Brashear posted 10 runs in the 1st, a run in the 2nd and 5 more in the 3rd. Emily Ladwig led the offensive charge for Brashear with a triple and a home run. Macy Rogers picked up the win on the mound.

In the baseball game, Brashear pounded out 15 hits in the 18-2 win. Cody Snelling and Hayden Coin both homered, Adam Songer went 3 for 3, and Daniel Smith was 2 for 3 on the night. Matt Thomas threw 3 scoreless innings for Brashear striking out 7 with Nick Thomas coming in to pitch 2 innings of relief. The Tigers finished 2nd in the Tri-County Conference with a 6-1 record and were 7-2 overall.
