Monday's action featured boys' 1st round games.

The top-seeded Brashear boys played their 1st round district game with Marion County Monday. The Tigers opened a 14-4 lead after 1 quarter and led 34-15 at the half. Brashear extended their lead to 60-25 after 3 quarters and picked up the win 70-31. For Brashear, Kiley Watson led all scorers with 25 points. Anthony Ambrosia had 10 points, Ryan Ferdig added 9, Cody Snelling had 8, Trae Treasure had 6, Justin Hazen and Matt Thomas scored 4 each, and Michael McKim and Jay Scudder scored 2 points each. Marion County was led by Justin Tobias with 13, Nathan Wikowsky had 10, Dustin Bock and Dalton Bainter had 3 points each, and David Spratt scored 2 points.

In other 1st round boys' games, Novinger defeated Bevier 56-53, Macon County downed Madison 48-30, and LaPlata beat Atlanta 71-34.
