Tri County Conference Academic Bowl Tournament March 27, 2009

Brashear Varsity and Novinger JH took 1st with Brashear JH finishing in 3rd place.

The Tri County Conference held their academic bowl tournament March 27th. Teams competed in a double elimination bracket. Brashear beat Bevier, Bucklin, and LaPlata in the winners bracket. LaPlata came back from the losers bracket, but Brashear beat them again to take 1st in the tournament. Brashear also won the regular season conference title with a perfect 8-0 record.

The Brashear JH team beat Atlanta and Macon County before losing to Novinger and Bevier to finish 3rd in the tournament. Novinger defeated Bevier in the championship game to take 1st place. The Brashear JH squad finished 2nd in regular season conference play with a 7-1 record.
