Canton sweeps a Varsity/JV baseball double-header.

In the varsity game, Brashear got on the board in the 1st inning on solo homers by Ryan Ferdig and Matt Thomas. Canton answered in the bottom of the 1st when Barton hit a solo home run to make the score 2-1 Brashear. The next three innings went uneventfully until Canton exploded for 8 runs in the 5th. Brashear picked up 2 more runs in the 6th and 1 in the 7th, but fell to Canton by a score of 11-5. Matt Thomas had 2 hits for Brashear, and Ryan Ferdig, Cody Snelling, Hayden Coin, and Jay Scudder had 1 hit each. Matt Thomas pitched for Brashear taking the loss with Cody Snelling pitching in relief.

In the JV game, Brashear fell behind early trailing 9-0 after the first inning and losing to Canton by a score of 10-2. Hayden Coin took the loss for Brashear with Nick Thomas pitching in relief.
