The Tigers got a non-conference win in the varsity softball game, but rain and lightning cancelled the JV game.

The Brashear Lady Tigers and Marion County Lady Mustangs played a rain and lightning shortened varsity softball game Monday. Brashear took a 3-0 lead after 1 inning of play, but Marion County scored in the bottom of the 2nd to pull within 4-1. Brashear added another 4 runs in the 3rd to ice the game and held on to win 10-3 in the 5 inning game. Kristen Love had 2 hits for Brashear, and Cierra Hines, Shelby Salter, and Katie Watson also had hits. Hines was the winning pitcher.
