In the Tuesday nightcap, #4 seed Brashear squared off with #5 seed Grundy County. Grundy County got on the board 1st, but by the end of the 1st quarter, Brashear had established a 22-17 lead. The Tigers outscored Grundy County 19-12 in the 2nd quarter to take a 41-29 lead into halftime. Brashear continued to outscore Grundy County in the 2nd half, leading 56-38 after 3 quarters and winning by a margin of 72-51. Brashear had 4 players in double figures. Anthony Ambrosia scored 21 points, Cody Snelling had 15, Matt Thomas had 11, Jay Scudder scored 10, Adam Songer had 8, Zach Reeves had 4, and Nick Thomas scored 3 points. For Grundy County, Bryce Rains scored 24 points, Jordan Whitney had 18, Shawn Gott added 4, Brody Hatcher had 3, and Jordan Curtis scored 2 points.

In the other Tuesday night boys' game, LaPlata beat Novinger 64-28. In girls action, LaPlata topped Grundy County 64-26 and top seed Scotland County routed Green City 72-21.
