Knox County took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning but fortunes were reversed starting in the 3rd inning when a Matt Thomas home run gave Brashear a 3-1 lead. Brashear tacked on another run in the 4th, then blew the game open with 6 runs in the 6th. Knox scored another run in the bottom of the sixth, but Brashear scored 5 more in the seventh including another Matt Thomas 3-run homer. Brashear took the win by a score of 15-2. For Brashear, Matt Thomas had 2 home runs and 6 rbi's, Hayden Coin had a double and a triple, Adam Songer had 2 singles and a double, and Cody Snelling and Nick Bradshaw had singles. For Knox County, Tristan Lonberger, Lance McMahon, Dylan Morgret, and Brock Couch each had hits. Hayden Coin picked up the win for Brashear going 6 innings striking out 9. Cody Snelling pitched 1 inning of relief striking out 2. Couch took the loss for Knox County.
