The host Eagles sweep a varsity/JV double-header.

The Lady Tigers wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as Meredith Thomas led off with a double followed by a Cierra Hines single. After a pair of strikeouts, Kristen Love reached on an error driving Thomas in to give Brashear a 1-0 lead. The lead was short-lived as Knox answered with a run in the bottom of the 1st to make the score 1-1. The next several innings were a defensive battle as both teams managed to get runners on base, but couldn't bring them in. Knox County finally broke through with a pair of runs in the 5th on hits by Mackenzie Hustead and Stacey Leckbee and an rbi double by Bailey Couch to take a 3-1 lead which held up for the win. Meredith Thomas and Cierra Hines each had two hits for Brashear with Ashley Watson also having a hit. Stacey Leckbee, Bailey Couch, Deven Gudehus, Olivia Nichols, and Mackenzie Hustead all had hits for Knox County. Cierra Hines took to loss for Brashear and Rachel Poston picked up the win for Knox County.

Knox County took the JV contest 10-0.
