The host Wildcats sweep a pair of games in Tri-County Conference action.

The Brashear Tigers were on the road Tuesday to play a conference baseball/softball double-header at Novinger. The Lady Tigers jumped on the scoreboard to take a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning. Both teams went scoreless until the 5th when Novinger scored 4 times to take a 4-1 lead. Brashear answered in the top of the 6th with 3 runs to knot the game at 4-all, but Novinger scored another pair in the bottom of the 6th to pick up a 6-4 win. Meredith Thomas had 2 hits for Brashear, with Shelby Salter, Abby McKim, and Sydney Slavin also having hits. Farrell, Chrisman, Jacques, Smith, L. Hubbard, and Frost all had hits for Novinger. Cierra Hines took the loss for Brashear with Jacques picking up the win for Novinger.

Novinger jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the baseball game before Brashear got on the scoreboard in the top of the 2nd on a Nick Thomas solo homer. Novinger added 6 more runs in the bottom of the 2nd on their way to a 14-3 win. Cody Snelling had 2 hits for Brashear with Nick Thomas, Luke Morrow, and Nick Bradshaw also having hits. Hayden Coin and Nick Thomas pitched for Brashear with Chris Smith picking up the win for Novinger.
