In Monday night's girls game, Brashear held a slim 2 point lead through much of the 1st quarter before Atlanta pulled ahead 7-5, then got hot to take a 13-5 lead into halftime. Brashear was held scoreless again in the 3rd after a scoreless 2nd quarter, falling to Atlanta 28-10.

The Brashear Tigers scored the first bucket in the boys game, but the first quarter was all Atlanta after that as the Hornets pushed the pace to take a 22-6 lead after 1 quarter. Both offenses sputtered some in the 2nd quarter and the Hornets took a 30-10 lead into the locker room. The Hornets continued their dominance in the 2nd half rolling to a 46-18 win.
