The Mary Immaculate 7th and 8th grade girls' basketball team came to Brashear Wednesday night. The visiting Lady Hawks had the hot hand in the first half as Emily Schwend poured in 20 points to put Mary Immaculate up 24-6 at halftime. Brashear had the better 2nd half outscoring their opponents 14-8, but that still left them short and Mary Immaculate claimed a 32-20 win. For Brashear, Allison Thompson had 8 points, Abigail Kerby and Audrey DeBie had 4 each, and Allison Garrett and Rachel Heimer scored 2 points each. Mary Immaculate was led by Emily Schwend with 24 points, Audrey Wichmann added 6, and Ilinco Ionas scored 2 points.
