The Macon County Girls took 1st place Saturday night with a 35-30 win over Bucklin. Boys' 1st place went to Bevier with a 50-40 win over Macon County. Novinger boys topped LaPlata 31-26 for boys' 3rd place.

Friday night began with a girls consolation game between Brashear and Green City. The Lady Tigers of Brashear led 4-3 after one quarter, but Green City took a 15-11 lead into the locker room. The 3rd quarter was a defensive struggle as Brashear closed to within 15-13. Green City outscored the Lady Tigers 9-6 in the final quarter to win consolation 24-19. For Brashear, Ashley Moncrief scored 10 points, Allison Thompson added 4, Nikki Moncrief and Skylar Housman had 2 each, and Alexa Acton scored 1 point. Green City scoring was paced by Alicia Albrecht and Raeann Kilgore with 9 points each, Katharina Bryant had 4, and Ashley Lewis scored 2 points.

In other Friday games, the Atlanta boys beat Green City 37-28 in the consolation game, and the LaPlata girls edged Atlanta 23-22 for 3rd place.
