The Bulldogs shutout the host Tigers.

Tuesday night, the LaPlata Bulldog baseball team visited Brashear. LaPlata jumped on the scoreboard for 4 runs in the 1st inning and scored every inning of the 5-inning contest. The big blow came in the 3rd when LaPlata scored 9 runs. Brashear put 2 runners aboard in the 1st with 2 outs, but were unable to score. Brashear's only other base runners came in the 4th and 5th innings as LaPlata rolled to a 19-0 win. Cody Snelling had Brashear's only hits with a pair of singles. LaPlata had 15 hits including home runs by Taylor Wheeler, David Chrisman, Hayden Fouch, and Tyler Clay. Cody Snelling took the loss for Brashear with Adam Songer and Nick Thomas pitching in relief. Hayden Fouch got the win for LaPlata with Taylor Wheeler and Tyler Clay pitching in relief.

After the game, Senior Night Ceremonies were held to honor Brashear's 4 Seniors, Adam Songer, Cody Snelling, Jay Scudder, and Hayden Coin.
