Brashear girls win 16-1 and Atlanta boys take a 14-4 victory.

In the softball game, Brashear scored 4 runs in the 1st inning, 3 in the 2nd and one in the third. Two Lady Tigers homered in the 6-run fourth inning. Kristen Love hit a 3-run homer, then Shelby Salter followed with a 2-run homer 3 batters later. Atlanta's lone run came in the 1st as Brashear won 16-1 in 5 innings. Meredith Thomas, Ashley Moncrief, Shelby Salter, Alexa Acton, Nikkie Moncrief, Katie Smith, Katie Watson, and Kristen Love all had hits for Brashear. Dysart and Spearman had hits for Atlanta. Kristen Love picked up the win giving up only 2 hits and striking out 8. Reed took the loss for Atlanta.

Brashear got on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the top of the 1st, but Atlanta answered with 6 runs in the bottom of the inning with Halley hitting a 2-run homer. Brashear held Atlanta scoreless in the 2nd and gave up single runs in the 3rd and 4th, but Atlanta pushed across 6 runs in the 5th to end the game early by a score of 14-4. Hayden Housman, Gabe Thomas, Blake Pfllum, Curtis Blakely, Joe Clarkson, and Nick Thomas had hits for Brashear. Bogeart, Garnett, Baker, Thrasher, and Halley had hits for Atlanta. Gabe Thomas got the start for Brashear with Nick Thomas pitching in relief. Weber picked up the win on the mound for Atlanta.
