In Friday night's softball game, Brashear got on the scoreboad with a pair of runs in the first and held that early 2-0 lead through the first 3 innings. In the top of the 4th, Brashear pushed across 4 runs, then added 7 more in the 5th to end the game 13-1 by the mercy rule. Green City's run came in the bottom of the 5th. For Brashear, Cierra Hines had a double and a single, Meredith Thomas had a double, Kristen Love had 2 hits, and Ashley Moncrief, Alexa Acton, Nickkie Moncrief, and Katie Watson also had hits. For Green City, Hatcher, Jeffries, and Sorenson had hits. Cierra Hines picked up the win for Brashear throwing a 3-hitter and striking out 6. Jacobs took the loss for Green City.

Green City struck for a pair of runs to take an early 2-0 lead in the baseball game. Brashear scored 5 runs in the top of the 2nd to lead 5-2, but Green City tied the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the 2nd. Brashear got another pair of runs in the 4th, but Green City scored 3 in the 3rd, 4 in the 4th, and 5 in the 4th to win 17-7. Nick Thomas had a triple and a single for Brashear, with Nick Bradshaw and David Walker also having hits. Pearson, Conner, Jones, Brundage, King, and Veinott all had hits for Green City. Hayden Housman took the loss for Brashear with Jones getting the win for Green City.
