Mary Immaculate 7-8 at Brashear October 24, 2011

The Brashear Lady Tigers outscored Mary Immaculate 10-2 in the first quarter, then kept pouring it on, extending their lead to 23-2 at halftime, 38-2 after 3 quarters and cruising to a 47-5 win. Caitlee Hall scored 14 points for Brashear, Saydie Potter added 8, Kacie Mihalevich had 7, Abby Kerby had 6, Sidney Sykes had 4, Kourtney Arnold had 3, Erin Bradshaw and Kylie Williams had 2 each, and Mechalia Potter scored 1 point. For Mary Immaculate, Annie Schwend scored 5 points.

In the boys' game, Mary Immaculate jumped out to a 15-4 first quarter lead and led 18-9 going into halftime. Brashear closed to within 5 during the 3rd quarter, but Mary Immaculate led 24-15 at the end of the 3rd. Brashear rallied again in the 4th, pulling to within 6, but could close the gap no further and Mary Immaculate held on for a 31-23 win. Brody Henrichs scored 12 points for Brashear, Patrick Jochimsen and Colt Acton had 4 each, and Tyler Watson scored 3 points. For Mary Immaculate, Cohen Holte scored 15 points, Joey Hagar had 8, Alex Herleth had 4, and Alex Hendler and Matt Schwend scored 2 points each.
