The Tigers and Wildcats split a double-header.
The Brashear and Bevier girls played to a 6-6 tie after one quarter, but Brashear outscored the Lady Wildcats 12-2 during the second quarter to take an 18-8 lead into halftime. The Lady Tigers extended their lead to 30-13 after 3 quarters and won by a score of 34-13. Allison Thompson scored 8 points for Brashear, Abby Hall had 7, Mandy Taylor had 5, Kasie Mihalevich and Abby Kerby had 4 each, Caitlee Hall had 3, Saydie Potter had 2,a nd Skylar Housman scored 1 point. For Bevier, Alyssa Gunnels scored 5 points, Courtney Miller had 4, and Caiti Bradley and Dakota Nute scored 2 points each.
Bevier jumped out to a 13-6 first quarter lead in the boys' game and they led 28-15 at halftime. Brashear outscored Bevier 9-5 in the final quarter, but it was too little too late at Bevier won by a score of 49-28. Colt Acton scored 9 points for Brashear, Jacob Reeves had 7, Gabe Thomas had 6, Chance Hill had 4, and Brody Henrichs scored 2 points. For Bevier, Colby Peukert scored 24 points, Caleb Richardson had 14, Izek Ferguson had 4, Tony Humphrey had 3, Luke Long had 2, and Garret Bailey scored 1 point.
