Mary Immaculate 7&8 Basketball at Brashear November 15, 2011

The host Tigers sweep a pair of games from the Hawks.

In the first game of the evening, the Brashear Lady Tigers scored the first 15 points of the game and never looked back taking a 31-4 lead at halftime, and holding Mary Immaculate scoreless in the 2nd half for a 55-4 win. Kylie Williams and Mandy Taylor each scored 10 points for Brashear, Caitlee Hall had 9, Kacie Mihalevich and Saydie Potter scored 8 each, Courtney Arnold had 6, and Skylar Housman and Erin Bradshaw scored 2 points each. Adriene Cole scored 4 points for Mary Immaculate.

The boys' game also started with Brashear jumping out to an early lead of 11-2 after one quarter and led 19-7 at halftime. Mary Immaculate made runs in the 2nd half but couldn't close the gap and Brashear held on for a 33-23 win. Brody Henrichs scored 12 points for Brashear, Patrick Jochimsen added 8, Marshall Goff had 6, Colt Acton had 3, and Jacob Bleything and Tristan Borron scored 2 points each. For Mary Immaculate, Cohen Holte scored 11 points, Joey Hagar had 8, Alex Herleth had 3, and Matt Schwend scored 1 point.
