In Thursday night's boys consolation semi-final game, Brashear jumped out to a quick 20-9 lead over Schuyler County after the 1st quarter. The Brashear squad maintained their momentum taking a 39-20 lead into the locker room at halftime. Schuyler County came out fired up for the 2nd half and cut the Brashear lead to 47-42 by the end of the 3rd quarter. As Schuyler County overtook Brashear in the 4th quarter, it looked like their momentum would carry the day, but the game ended up tied 60-all. In the overtime, Schuyler County scored 8 points, but Brashear put 10 on the board to win 70-68. Joe Clarkson scored 26 points for Brashear, Taren Treasure added 18, Hayden Housman had 13, Joseph Woods had 9, and Chance Hill scored 4 points. For Schuyler County, Garret Wilson scored 19 points, Christian Henderson had 17, Jordan Wheeler had 14, Brandon Wubken had 6, Zach Schmitter had 5, and Dalton Shively scored 4 points.
In other Thursday night games, the Schuyler County girls downed Palmyra JV 56-41 in the consolation semi-final. The Marion County girls topped Knox County 79-47 in the championship semi-final, and the Marion County boys defeated Scotland County 49-31 in the other championship semi-final.
