Both the LaPlata and Brashear girls teams got off to a slow start, but LaPlata had gained some momentum by the end of the first quarter with a 16-5 lead. The Lady Bulldogs extended their lead to 27-10. LaPlata led 41-22 after 3 quarters and advanced to the district semi-finals with a 47-32 win.
