Brashear visited Marion County Monday for a V/JV baseball double-header. In the varsity game, Brashear got on the scoreboard in the top of the 1st as Hayden Housman hit a leadoff double and Gabe Thomas singled him in. That would be all of the run production for Brashear. Marion County scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st on a Casson Spratt walk and a Luke Stratton homerun. The Mustangs added 3 more in the 3rd and 6 in the 4th to win 11-1. Hayden Housman had 2 hits for Brashear with Gabe Thomas, Nick Gordon, and Chance Hill also having hits. Krigbaum, Spratt, Stratton, Bridgeman, Pollard, and Atteberry had hits for Marion County. Luke Morrow got the start for Brashear with Hayden Housman pitching in relief. Krigbaum got the start for Marion County.
