Brashear Lady Tigers Take Consolation in Atlanta Softball Tournament August 25, 2012
Brashear's 1st opponent of the day was LaPlata. The Tigers led 2-1 after the 1st inning, but wouldn't score again until the 6th. Meanwhile, LaPlata added runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th innings to take an 8-3 win. Shelby Salter and Alexa Acton had hits for Brashear, while Snodgrass, Kimmel, Janes, and Safley had hits for LaPlata. Acton pitched for Brashear and Belt pitched for LaPlata.
In the 2nd game, Brashear led 5-0 before Novinger pushed across 7 runs in the 4th. Brashear also had a run in the 4th, but fell short, losing to Novinger 7-6.
