In Tuesday night action at the Atlanta Tournament, the Bucklin/Macon County boys defeated Green City B by a score of 49-17 and the LaPlata boys downed Bevier 51-24. The LaPlata girls topped Green City B by a score of 51-19.

The 4th seeded Brashear girls faced 5th seeded Atlanta in the late game. It was everything you would expect from a 4-seed/5-seed contest. The teams were tied at 7-7 after one quarter of play, and despite an early 2nd quarter scoring surge by Brashear, the Lady Tigers only led Atlanta 13-11 at halftime. Brashear managed to build a lead in the 2nd half and hold onto it to win by a final score of 30-24. Kacie Mihalovich and Caitlee Hall scored 8 points each for Brashear, Abigail Kerby had 7, Sidney Sykes had 3, and Saydie Potter scored 2 points. For Atlanta, Ashton Grigsby had 9, Brianna Still added 6, Jordan Teter had 3, and Danielle Welch scored 2 points.
