Brashear hosted LaPlata for baseball Tuesday night. LaPlata scored 4 runs to start the game, but Brashear answered with 5 runs to complete the 1st inning of play. The bats fell silent for both teams as there was no more scoring until the 5th inning when LaPlata tied the game at 5-all. Brashear pushed across 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th, including a 3-run homer by Nick Bradshaw. The drama wasn't over as LaPlata scored 4 more runs in the top of the 7th, but Brashear hung on for their 1st win of the spring by a final scored of 11-9. Gabe Thomas, Hayden Housman, Nick Bradshaw, Luke Baker, and Blake Pflum had hits for Brashear. Nick Bradshaw picked up the complete game win for Brashear with Brown taking the loss for LaPlata.
