Brashear hosted the LaPlata Bulldog varsity and jv baseball teams Friday night. LaPlata came out swinging the hot bats in the top of the 1st inning, scoring 9 times. They would add another run in the 2nd, one in the 4th, and 5 in the 5th on their way to a 16-3 win. Brashear's first run came in the bottom of the 4th as Tristin Smith drew a walk, and Lucas Grgurich drove him in. Two more Tiger runs came across in the 5th as Chance Hill doubled, Gabe Thomas walked, and both eventually scored. Chance Hill had a double for Brashear, with Jacob Bleything, Tristin Smith, Sam Smith, and Lucas Grgurich also having hits. For LaPlata, Belt and Smith both homered. Gabe Thomas, Chance Hill, and Luke Morrow pitched for Brashear with Bolden and Smith pitching for LaPlata.
