Bucklin/Macon Co. JH Basketball at Brashear November 1, 2013

The Bucklin/Macon County coop JH basketball teams visited Brashear Friday night. The girls game was very closely contested with the score being tied 4-4 after one quarter. By halftime, BMC held a slim 12-11 lead over Brashear. Brashear came out and outscored BMC 10-8 in the third quarter to take a 21-20 lead and held on through the 4th to win by a score of 29-26. Caitlee Hall scored 15 points for Brashear with Robbyn Wagster and Hailey Lawrence having 4 each, Hannah Reeves had 3, Kacie Mihalovich had 2, and Saydie Potter scored 1 point. For BMC, Kellen Robertson scored 20 points, Reka Behrman added 3, and Angel Fessler, Darcy Yaeger, and Damara Riley scored 1 point each.

The BMC boys jumped out to a 24-0 lead after one quarter, but Brashear got on the scoreboard for 5 points in the 2nd to trail 38-5. Brashear's offense never got on track in the 2nd half and they fell by a final score of 57-8. Colton Sayre scored 4 points for Brashear with Triston Morrison and Aden Zentz scoring 2 points each. For BMC, Camren Shaw scored 12 points, Jerry Anders and Bennett Duncan scored 10 each, Tyler Brosdahl had 7, Justin Thomas had 6, Colton Jackson and Justin Mossbarger had 4 each, and Michael Alexander and Logan Jones scored 2 points each.
