The Linn County Mustangs visited Brashear Thursday night. The Lady Mustangs took a 12-8 first quarter lead over Brashear and were up 24-11 at halftime. Although Brashear outscored Linn County 10-4 in the final quarter, the rally fell short and Brashear fell to Linn County 37-27. Robbyn Wagster and Hailey Lawrence scored 7 points each for Brashear, Caitlee Hall added 6, Kacie Mihalovich, Mechelia Potter, and Hannah Reeves had 2 each, and Harli Mihalevich scored 1 point. For Linn County, Emily Schreiner scored 13 points, Blair Buswell and Joslyn Seals had 8 each, Krista Ratliff had 6, and Ariel Search scored 2 points.

The Linn County boys came roaring out to a 24-0 lead after one quarter but Brashear scored 16 2nd quarter points to make the score 33-16 at halftime. Linn County dialed up the pressure again to start the 3rd quarter and extended their lead to 52-23 on their way to a 56-27 win. Ty Gottman scored 14 points for Brashear, Zane Sykes added 5, and Levi Blankenship and Wyatt Potter scored 4 points each. For Linn County, James Davis scored 17 points, Dusten Coke had 12, Chadley Waltz and Levi Barker had 6 each, Tristen Miller scored 5, Cameron Creason and Dillan Cordrey had 4 each, and Jamison Hostetter scored 2 points.
