The Brashear Tigers baseball team was in Edina Friday night for a varsity game with the Knox County Eagles. Knox County got on the scoreboard with a run in the bottom of the 2nd, but Brashear answered with a pair of runs in the top of the third. Knox County struck for 4 more runs in the bottom of the 4th on a series of Tiger errors. Brashear put up 2 more runs in the top of the 5th, but that was all of the scoring with Knox County holding on for a 5-4 win. Luke Baker had 2 hits and 4 rbi's for Brashear, with Chance Hill, Abby Hall, and Jacob Bleything also having hits. Gabe Thomas got the start for Brashear, going 4 innings and giving up 2 hits and no earned runs while striking out 8. Luke Baker pitched 2 innings of relief, striking out 3 and giving up one hit.
