The Brashear baseball boys played a non-conference game in LaPlata Friday night. Although the Tigers managed to escape the rain showers that fell right after the game, they weren't able to escape an 8-run 2nd inning by LaPlata. Brashear held LaPlata to 2 runs in the first, 2 in the 3rd and none in the 4th. Brashear got on the board in the 4th as Colt Acton drew a leadoff walk and stole 2nd. Gabe Thomas then doubled to bring Acton in to score. LaPlata won the game by a final score of 12-1. Colt Acton got the start for Brashear with Jacob Bleything pitching in relief.
