On Monday, Brashear hosted Atlanta for the first home junior high basketball games of the season. The Brashear Lady Tigers got on the scoreboard first, but Atlanta soon took the lead and were up 18-9 at halftime. Brashear couldn't get any offense going the second half and fell to Atlanta 42-11. Averi Acton scored 4 points for Brashear, Emily Mason had 3, and Harli Mihalevich and Alexa Higgins scored 2 points each.

Atlanta took control of the boys game early on, running up a 20-6 lead after one quarter and led 27-10 at the half. Brashear had their best offensive quarter in the 3rd, scoring 7 points, but Atlanta would cruise to a 51-19 win. Ty Gottman scored 10 points for Brashear, Wyatt Potter added 5, and Quinn Allen and Triston MOrrison scored 2 points each.
