The boys' game started with LaPlata jumping out to a 27-9 lead after one quarter and a 45-16 halftime lead. The Tigers were able to slow LaPlata's scoring in the 2nd half, with LaPlata leading 55-23 after 3 quarters. The final LaPlata margin of victory was 62-32. Jacob Reeves scored 15 points for Brashear, Patrick Jochinsen added 6 points, Colt Acton had 5, and Chance Hill and Gabe Thomas scored 4 points each.
