Brashear hosted the Knox County baseball squad for a Friday night game. An infield hit and a walk set the stage for a Knox County 3-run homer in the top of the first. Brashear looked like they had the answer in the bottom of the 1st as the first 4 batters reached base. Unfortunately, no runs were scored as lead base runners were erased during the process. Knox scored another 6 runs in the 2nd, and although Brashear continued to get runners aboard, none of them scored. Brashear finally got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 5th. Trailing 14-0, Chance Hill singled, Gabe Thomas doubled, and with 2 outs, Zane Sykes drove the 1st pitch of his at-bat over the right center field fence for a 3-run homer. Brashear lost by a final score of 14-3. Zane Sykes had a home run for Brashear, Gabe Thomas had a double and a single, Chance Hill and Jacob Bleything had 2 singles each, and Colt Acton and Dalton Hocker each had a single. Chance Hill and Gabe Thomas pitched for Brashear.
