Brashear at Bevier September 25, 2015

Brashear traveled to Bevier last Friday. The Lady Tigers took command of the game early on with a pair of runs in the 1st and 3 more in the 2nd. Bevier wouldn't get on the scoreboard until the 5th, but they scored another 4 runs in the 6th. With Brashear holding a 7-5 lead, Bevier loaded the bases in the bottom of the 7th, but the Tiger defense held as Brashear held on for the 7-5 win. Sidney Sykes had 2 hits for Brashear, with Abi Kerby, Saydie Potter, and Harli Mihalevich also having hits. Sidney Sykes got the start and win for Brashear, striking out 6.

In the baseball game, the first inning was uneventful with neither team scoring. Brashear failed to score in the 2nd inning as well, but Bevier started to swing the bats and scored 5 times in the bottom of the 2nd. Bevier tacked on another 9 insurance runs in the 4th as they cruised to a 14-0 win. Jacob Bleything, Dalton Hocker, and Colt Acton had hits for Brashear. Colt Acton took the loss on the mound with Jacob Bleything pitching in relief.
