Brashear played in the Schuyler County softball tournament Saturday. Their first opponent was Milan. Milan scored single runs in each of the first 4 innings with Brashear scoring in the top of the fifth to make the game 4-1. Milan broke through for 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th and 2 more in the 6th to win by a score of 11-1. Sidney Sykes, Hannah Reeves, Hailey Lawrence, and Harli Mihalevich had hits for Brashear. Skylar Housman got the start for Brashear.

In the second game of the day, Brashear faced Cairo. The Lady Tigers wasted no time, scoring 3 runs in the first. Not to be outdone, Cairo scored 4 of their own in the first. The runs were hard to come by for Brashear after the 1st with Brashear picking up only one more run in the 4th, but Cairo got hot and outscored Brashear for a 20-4 win. Abi Kerby had 3 hits for Brashear, Saydie Potter had 2 hits, with Skylar Housman, Sidney Sykes, Hannah Reeves, and Hailey Lawrence also having hits. Sidney Sykes and Skylar Housman pitched for Brashear.
