Brashear baseball and softball teams headed to Linn County Monday to complete games that were interrupted by rain earlier. The softball game resumed in the 5th inning with Brashear leading 4-3. Brashear was unable to hang onto the lead as Linn County scored 2 runs in the 5th and 4 runs in the 6th to claim a 9-4 win. Skylar Housman, Abi Kerby, Mandy Taylor, Hannah Reeves, and Harli Mihalevich all had hits for Brashear.

Brashear spotted Linn County 7 runs in the first inning of the baseball game. The Tigers had a 3-run rally in the 2nd, but Linn County continued to put runs on the board, holding onto the lead. Brashear scored 7 times in the 5th, but it was too little too late as Linn County went on to win 18-10. Jacob Bleything had 4 hits for Brashear, Colt Acton had two hits, and Levi Blankenship, Coury Blakely, and Zane Sykes also had hits. Jacob Bleything, Dalton Hocker, and Zane Sykes pitched for Brashear.
