The Tiger teams kicked off their Fall 2016 seasons on the road at Newtown-Harris. In the softball game, Newtown-Harris got on the board with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. It took awhile for Brashear to get the bats going, but they took a 3-2 lead in the top of the 5th. The Lady Tigers were able to hang on their lead until Newtown-Harris scored twice in the bottom of the 7th to claim the win. Averi Acton and Alexa Higgins each had 2 hits for Brashear, with Harli Mihalevich, Hailey Lawrence, and Hannah Reeves also had hits. Acton was on the mound for Brashear, striking out 12 while walking only 3.

The Tigers got off to a quick start in the baseball game, scoring 3 runs in the 1st and 7 in the 2nd to take a 10-0 lead. Brashear was eventually able to put 14 runs on the scoreboard to hold off Newtown-Harris for a 14-9 win. Jacob Bleything homered and had 3 hits for Brashear, Colt Acton had 5 hits, Zane Sykes had 3 hits, and John Gerhold and Wyatt Reeves also had hits. Acton got the start for Brashear, striking out 11 in 4 innings of work. Brhet Place pitched in relief.
