Last Thursday, the Lady Tiger softball team travelled to Green City for a non-conference game with the Gophers. Brashear got on the scoreboard with a run in the 1st, but Green City held a 4-1 lead after 3 innings. Brashear scored a run in the 4th and one in the 5th and put up 3 runs in the 7th, but it wasn't enough as Green City won 9 to 6. Alexa Higgins had 3 hits for Brashear, Emily Mason, Averi Acton, and Hannah Reeves had 2 hits each, and Harli Mihalovich, Hailey Lawrence, and Tanna Garlock also had hits. Acton got the start on the mound.
