Brashear Baseball Hosts Atlanta May 8, 2017

The Brashear Tiger baseball team hosted Atlanta for senior night
Monday. The Tigers got on the scoreboard in the 1st to take a 3-0 
lead. Brashear would add another 4 in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th, and
5 in the 5th to post a 15-5 win. Atlanta had a big 4th inning where
they scored all 5 of their runs. John Gerhold had a big night at the
plate for Brashear driving in 7 runs, 4 of which came on a grand slam
in the 3rd. Zane Sykes also homered in the 1st. Justin Leedom had 4
hits on the night. Gerhold, Quin Allen, and Jacob Bleything had 2 
hits each with Wyatt Reeves also having a hit. Bleything pitched
the complete 5-inning victory, striking out 10 while surrendering
only 2 hits and no earned runs.
