North Shelby Baseball at Brashear Tuesday April 24, 2007

Despite jumping out to an early 5-0 lead, Brashear was unable to keep the Raiders from battling back to get a 9-8 road win.

Jacob Shipman got the start for Brashear and helped his cause with a 1st inning home run. Brashear scored another 4 runs in the 2nd to take a 5-0 lead. The Raiders closed the gap in the 3rd when Otto hit a grand slam making the score 5-4. Brashear continued to pick up a few scattered runs, but another 4-run outburst in the 5th put North Shelby ahead to stay. Jacob Shipman had a homer and 2 singles, and Kiley Watson homered for Brashear. Justin Hazen had 3 hits, Matt Thomas had a double, and Kale Watson, and Tyler Killen both had singles.
