The host Tigers drop a Varsity/JV pair of baseball games.

The varsity game started out as a defensive battle with no scoring through the first 3 innings. Jordan Smith got LaPlata on the board in the 4th with a solo homer that would prove to be all the offense LaPlata would need. Smith picked up the 6-0 win on the mound for LaPlata. Matt Thomas had 2 hits for Brashear, with Kiley Watson and Cody Snelling also getting hits. Mike McKim took the loss for Brashear with Matt Thomas pitching in relief.

The Brashear JV squad was also unsuccessful as the fell 14-3 to LaPlata.
