The Tigers drop a non-conference game at home.

The Tigers and Bulldogs were scheduled to play a varsity/JV double-header Friday night, but heavy rain came during the varsity contest and cancelled the JV game. LaPlata jumped on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, but a Nick Thomas single and a Hayden Coin home run tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the frame. LaPlata broke the game open with 6 runs in the 3rd on their way to a 13-2 rain-soaked win. Hayden Coin homered in the losing effort, Nick Thomas had a pair of hits, and Matt Thomas and Adam Songer also had hits. Hayden Fouch homered for LaPlata. Hayden Coin took the loss for Brashear going 4 innings with Nick Thomas pitching an inning of relief.
